Data Security

Because AI CardBook stores contact details and scanned card images, we take the following measures to keep that data safe.

1. Encryption

• Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS between your device and our servers.
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

2. Access Control

• Your contacts, cards, and digital business card are only accessible from your authenticated account.
• Publicly shared cards (via QR code / share link) expose only the fields you choose to include on your digital card.
• Internal access to production data is limited to authorized personnel for support and maintenance.

3. Infrastructure

Card images and application data are hosted on reputable cloud infrastructure with regular backups and monitoring.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete individual contacts or cards at any time. If you close your account, associated data is removed within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or billing records.

5. Reporting a Concern

If you discover a security issue, please report it to support@aicardbook.com so we can investigate promptly.
